The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2023 results in a record speed.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results of the NEET PG 2023 exam, just nine days after the test. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the students who qualified for the examination.
‘NBEMS has done a great job in record time. I appreciate their efforts,” Mandaviya wrote in his Twitter post.
2023-24 admission session NEET-PG exam was conducted on 5 March 2023, for admission to MD, MS, DNB and other PG Diploma courses. This year, as per the registrations, about 2.9 lakh students appeared in the examination.
‘’The results of NEET-PG 2023 has been announced! Congratulations to all students declared qualified in the results! NBEMS has again done a great job by successfully conducting exams and declaring results in record time. I appreciate their efforts!” the union health minister tweeted after the results were declared.
Out of 800, the cut off score for the general category and EWS is 291. For general-PWBD candidates, the cut off is 274. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, the cut off mark is 257.
As per the official notification, each and every question in NEET PG 2023 was reviewed by the subject matter experts from the concerned specialty after the conduct of NEET PG 2023 to re-check for the technical correctness of the questions as well as answer keys.
The notification added that with the input from the subject matter experts, no question was found to be technically incorrect or ambiguous. With the results announced, the students who cleared the exam and qualified for admission will get seats to the PG courses in respective speciality in medicine.
