Not Making Notes

Make proper notes while you are studying. The majority of the students make the mistake of not taking short notes. The main advantage of taking notes is that it will help you to review and recall the main points easily. It’s always better to refer to your notes than depend on others for that.

Quantity over quality

The amount of quality information you acquire is more important than the number of books you read. You need to refer to the syllabus and stick to that. Don’t overload yourself with unwanted information.

Following too much information will make it difficult to finish the syllabus on time. Stick to the syllabus, refer to the NCERT textbooks, important books, and study materials.

Not Solving Questions

No doubt theory plays an important role, but practicing questions is also important. Try to solve as many question banks as you can. Solving question banks will help you increase your speed and accuracy.

Refusing to Take Tests

Mock tests help the candidate identify areas for improvement and become familiar with the NEET Exam. You can identify your weak points and devote more time to them.

Avoid negative markings

Remember that even a one-point difference can cost you a hundred ranks. You must be familiar with negative markings. Usually, students have the habit of attending questions to see the OMR sheet filled. Don’t bubble the answers with guesswork.

Not Studying All Subjects

Ideally, your timetable should cover all the subjects. Make a timetable and allot time for all subjects. Give extra time for subjects in which you need improvement.

The Inability to Manage Time

Time management is the most important skill for clearing NEET. An effective timetable and time management will help medical aspirants study efficiently and get admission into the best medical colleges.

Competition with friends and thrive for rank

Don’t compare your marks with others. Utilize your time in improving your performance. Comparing yourself will make things difficult for you and it will surely distract your mind.

Over Exposure to Social Media / TV

NEET preparation needs your complete focus and dedication. Avoid anything that takes your precious time. Spending too much time on social media platforms will only distract you from your goal. Don’t study while you’re watching TV or using social media. Always study with full concentration.

Becoming Restless

Proper rest is required for the body. Avoid long study hours. Take study breaks in every 1 hour. It will improve your productivity.

Correct your mistakes and focus on your NEET exam.

You will be able to achieve it.

All the best.
