Application Process

Candidates preparing for Part 1 of the EFOG-EBCOG exam can find detailed application instructions on the EBCOG website months ahead of the exam date. Applications are accepted only online—paper submissions are not allowed. Since spots are limited, applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and candidates must ensure their submissions are timely.

EBCOG will not accept incomplete applications. Be sure to provide all required documents and verify your application for accuracy before submitting.

Check Your Eligibility

  1. Primary Medical Degree: Candidates must hold a medical degree and be licensed doctors.
  2. Medical Registration: You must be registered with the Medical Practitioners’ Register in your home country.
  3. Training Program Completion:
    • For Part 1: Candidates are eligible after completing at least three years of a recognized training program.
    • For Part 2: Candidates may sit the exam six months before completing their training.
  4. Examination Timeline: You must pass Part 2 within three years. If not, you will need to retake Part 1.
  5. Good Standing: You’ll need to provide proof of good standing from your Medical Council, employing authority, or department head.
  6. Clinical Experience: Candidates must present evidence of their clinical experience and post-graduate training.
  7. Professional Conduct: Candidates must certify they are not under suspension or involved in any disciplinary action.
  8. Technical Requirements: You must bring a compatible laptop to the exam (PC, MacBook, or mobile laptop).
